BID FOR BANK
Citystate Savings Bank of businessman Antonio
L. Cabangon Chua is keen on buying a losing banking
unit of state-run Government Service Insurance System
(GSIS). In a disclosure to the stock exchange, Citystate
said it had signified its intention to bid for the
state pension fund’s GSIS Family Bank. “Please
be informed that we have listed ourselves in the
pre-bidding conference held by the GSIS..as one
of the prospective bidders concerning its sale of
its shares in GSIS Family Bank,”Citystate
compliance officer Lilian E. Elepaño told
the exchange.
