Citystate Savings Bank has reported a 101.77-percent growth in net income in 2006. Assets grew by 13.42 percent and net interest income by 31.96 percent. In a statement, it reported increases in deposits of 20.29 percent. Last year, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas approved the bank’s foreign currency deposit and trust licenses. Citystate Bank operates 18 branches, and plans additional branches in several areas in Metro Manila to cater to small and medium enterprises.
